Scroll Whell Zoom While Off Screen

Is there a way to prevent zoom when the cursor is not in the active window? I use the mouse wheel to zoom in/out and even if the cursor is no longer inside the active window the mouse zoom still works. Is there a way to prevent this?

My hope is no action unless the cursor is in the active window. This may be a Windows thing, not GM.

The mouse wheel messages go to whichever window has focus, so if you haven't given another window focus but just moved the cursor outside of the map window the map window would still get the messages. You need to click in the window that you want the mouse wheel messages to go to if it isn't already active.

Afraid you'd say that, bummer. Misspelled Whell too. :( Thanks
